We also had a flat tire... which is not the first joint flat tire. There was the one on the south side of Chicago.
In this case I was quite worried to fine the wheel well FULL of red fluid. That can't be a good sign as my brain tried very hard to remember what type of car fluid is red... brake? transmission? differential?
Turned out it was a watercolour pencil that had somehow got caught in the well and dissolved when wet.
The second adventure had to do with cow intently watching us from over the fence. We needed to go back to my house for something and when we returned we found the cow on the car side of the fence!

Traveler lured the cow back to where he belonged, only to have the cow immediately walk to a low point in the fence and LEAP over it. It was just like the drawings of the nursery rthyme about the cow jumping over the moon. This time the cow wasted no time with us and took off down the road. Luckily his owner drove by just as we were finishing with our tire.
