Marbourgh regata

The weekend after my birthday I went to Marbourgh for a Regatta.  We're getting a bit better a racing.  I got to do a lot of driving.  I also got to see the inside of the captain's quarter on the Interislander...

Trip to the South Island

Traveler with help from our friend Emma, who must have called scores of lodging and rental car agencies, swept me off to the south island last weekend. We found our way to the ferry after work on Thursday and then Friday made our way to the Abel Tasman National Park. Here you can arrange water taxis that will drop you off at a beach on along the 3-4 day hiking track and then you can be picked up at the next beach after hiking for part of the day.
